The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office focused on service the area daily. The company point produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional methods to permit the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
